About Drunk Calculator

Drunk Calculator is a fast, free tool to estimate Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) based on your drinks, body weight, and time. It is designed for education and safer decision-making, not as a legal or medical measurement.

We provide a calculated estimate, visualizations, and articles to help you understand how alcohol can affect your body. Everyone metabolizes alcohol differently, so treat results as an estimate and always choose safe transportation.

Our calculator follows a Widmark-style estimate. Each drink is converted from ounces/milliliters and ABV into grams of ethanol, which yields a per-drink peak BAC based on your weight and a gender-based body water constant. We then apply a time-based absorption curve (sigmoid, with a 30-minute peak) to model how that drink enters the bloodstream. Once BAC is absorbed, we subtract 0.015 BAC per hour from the session start (after the absorption window) until the BAC is zero.

Our focus is reducing drunk driving through clear, educational information and safer decision-making guidance.
